GTC STARMAN

Glover family

I was sitting down to hold a meeting with our board of directors when the phone rang. To my shock I learned the the Choir had been in a serious accident.

The meeting was scrubbed and I got on the phone to Bernie to find out what was happening. At 11 pm that night, I turned on the national news to learn that a large bus with 25 young people had crashed, one man seriously injured … no fatalities. We told you that the TC Board wanted to try to quickly get the team home. You asked us to please pray about it and let the team make the decision.

We relented and waited to hear back for you all. I remember the courage as the men said,"We want to finish this 'WARRIOR National Tour." I recall hearing that a "choir rookie" stood up and said, "What about the people on the street, in the churches, in the prison we have come to reach. Who will touch them if we don't go?" The decision was unanimous to go forward.

As you headed on to Vancouver, we tried to get a bus and airline tickets home.  Several churches rallied to help us cover the cost to fly all of you home from Vancouver. God was surely with us all that day…we all know it could have been much worse. Thanks be to the Lord for his hand of protection!

You know the rest of the story. Thanks for your faithfulness.
