The ETC 50th was a wonderful celebration. What a time to reflect on Resurrection Power and the transformative reality of Jesus' love that is at work around the world and and in the 42 nations who gathered to rejoice. Their theme, "Fifty years of Faithfulness" cries out

LOOK WHAT THE
LORD HAS DONE!
When the world says there is no hope, the "harm reduction" policies of the EU "minimize" harm to society, while harming the addict. Condemned to a life sentence of methadone and dependency--Jesus says, "I can change it all!"
In 1969, Europe Teen Challenge began with an invitation from Netherlands to Howard Fotlz at Teen Challenge in Dallas to come. He started with the promise, "You know the culture, I know TC, let's dance!" Now, 50 years later, there are programs in 37 countries.

The real story of Teen Challenge is not just told in the Cross and the Switchblade, but in the nameless, faceless heroes whom this world may not know, but whose names are engraved in the walls of heaven and and etched in fear in the caverns of hell. The Celebration included Europe TC, as well as the Anniversary of 50 years of miracles in Great Britain and the Netherlands.

We appreciate your prayers as we continue to communicate with leaders from over 40 nations to identify needs, best practices and evangelism strategies to engage the emerging post-Christian culture of Europe with the absolute of God's promise and the trans formative truth that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the answer to the global drug epidemic.

JUST A FEW OF THE GREAT LEADERS HONORED
OUR MUSICAL GIFT TO YOU
This video is our Easter gift to you in honor of His gift to us.

God gave me a Resurrection song some years ago. I hope you can take a few minutes to celebrate with us and we pray you will be blessed.

The Stone was Dancin' ~ It didn't just roll away!

The Stone Was Dancin-2015 from Bernie Gillott

At Teen Challenge we celebrate resurrection 365 days of the year. Through the Resurrection, the basic foundation of existence was altered once and for all.  The brokenness of our hurting world was laid upon Jesus. His sacrifice tore a hole in normal history. If the grace He brought from the cross flowed in forgiveness, then the explosion of God's power in the Resurrection demonstrates His supremacy and ability to change us forever. His sacrifice tomb transformed THE CROSS from an enduring image a of disgrace, shame and death,to the the everlasting symbol of Hope and promise!  We pray Resurrection promise for you and your family in 2019

A Physician Looks at the Crucifixion by Dr. C Truman Davis

This is a powerful view of the physical and anatomical aspects of the passion and death of our Lord. What did the body of Jesus actually endure in the night and day leading up to Good Friday and those 6 hours of torture on the Cross.

Every Good Friday for the last 35 years, I have shared this message in a Teen Challenge Center, somewhere in the world. I love to Celebrate His resurrection, but we cannot forget HIS sacrifice. I would like to share this video I made. I pray it will bless you Make time to remember His gift! He did not forget us.

Therefore, having over-looked times of ignorance, God now commands all people everywhere to repent because He has set a day on which He is going to judge the world in righteousness, by the Man He has appointed.

He has provided proof of this to everyone by raising Him from the dead. Acts 17:30

I am a huge fan of old westerns–one of my favorites is The Gunfight at the OK Corral, the classic confrontation of good and evil, a small group against overwhelming odds. Calvary was a greater confrontation.  Jesus, one man, stood between the earth, the devil, the religious hierarchy, sin, fallen man and the mighty Roman Empire. Jesus vs the devil, light vs darkness, death vs life. – but it was not much of a fight. Jesus OVERCAME!

Jesus tore a hole in human history. One life, connected by two impossibilities, a virgin womb and an empty tomb, changed the world forever.

The God who remained silent on Good Friday had the last word!  His silence exploded in a crescendo of victory on Resurrection morning and announced to the world, “Nothing will ever be the same!”

A life, connected by 2 impossibilities, a virgin womb and an empty tomb

The suffering of Calvary broke the back of sin, but the empty tomb announced, not as a theory but as a fact, that God’s kingdom had come! Despite lies, betrayal, and suffering, the Son of man had been vindicated. Resurrection morning was the dawn of more than just another day, another week, another year. This was the start of a new era that would not be completed until all the nations bow in obedience to His Christ.

Resurrection is so powerful that Paul can say in IICorinthians 5:17, “If anyone is in Christ, he’s a new creation.” Get a clue! God offers more than a new beginning or a fresh start; not a new idea, or a new direction, but a NEW creation. This is not a caterpillar becoming a butterfly--they are the same species. This is a rat becoming an eagle --a fundamental transformation at the sub-atomic, spiritual molecular level. This is a cataclysmic change from death to life.

When the European Union says there is no cure for the disease of addiction, I choose to not argue with them. I rest on the Biblical truth that God does not just heal the old addict, he is transformed! It is death, then resurrection to a new life through the power of Jesus.

One thing all great leaders share is that, without regard to great accomplishments or spiritual insight, in the end- they died. You can go to Raj Ghats, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. Forty miles east of Thessaloníki, is Aristotle’s grave. Confucius’ remains are in a crypt in his hometown, Quaff, in Shandeigh province or go to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi under the Green Dome where the tomb of Muhammad is located.  Newton, Einstein and Darwin all have graves. But I have personally visited the Garden Tomb and Jesus is not there!

Lazarus came out of the grave with his burial clothes on. He was going to need them-- he would die in the end. Jesus left His burial clothes behind because He no longer needed them. He conquered death. Jesus’ resurrection is different from any other “life after death story.” Every other story, as incredible as they may seem, share one common thread. They were still going to die in the end. Jesus was raised to life once and for all.

The God who created EVERYTHING, is still at work.  On the very first day of creation, He said, “Let there be light,” and there was.  Thousands of years later, He called forth the Light of the World on the first day of Resurrection week, who came out of the darkness of a tomb to light up the brokenness of a dark world.

Jesus did not cheat death, he beat DEATH.
He did not deny death, He defied death.
He wasn't resuscitated, HE WAS RESURRECTED.
He did not avoid death, He destroyed death
.

Death, where is your victory? Grave where is your sting?

Take hold of LIFE! Celebrate your victory this Easter.
