So blessed for all that God did at SOS Stockholm. We appreciate your prayers for Sweden. We had wonderful ministry at School of Ministry, Leadership Academy and the "Prayer Days" gatherings at SOS Stockholm with international evangelist, Johannes Amritzer and Mission SOS. It has been our honor to work with them over the last 4 years in Africa with the Africa Capital Cities Tour of Mission SOS.

We are in a challenging period in our schedule. Home from Sweden, we head back to Africa, Côte d'Ivoire, February 15-25. Then home for just one overnight,
change from summer wardrobe (90°) in Africa, to winter wardrobe as we leave for a sensitive nation where it will be cold and snowy (A – land) … We appreciate your prayers. |

Blessed be the God & Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a Living Hope.
1 Pet 1:3 |
We know what it is to be born again, but it is possible to devalue that, when we permit the pressures of living in our dark world, to diminish the promise of our LIVING HOPE. For many, hope is an empty wish. I HOPE things will get better. I HOPE I will win the lottery. I HOPE I can change.
As we began the New Year, people greeted us with "best wishes" for 2019. Then as my birthday came and went, I received over
400 "Good Wishes." |

For many, their HOPE is not LIVING. It is just an empty wish. |
As grateful as I am for the kind words, I am so glad that we are not dependent upon wishes alone. We have a LIVING HOPE. When I was BORN AGAIN, I received more than just freedom from addiction or a chance to "live better," and a "get out of hell free" card. God left no doubt! HE gave us an offer and a PROMISE with a guarantee. Look at verse 4 & 5
:
He caused us to be born again to a Living Hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable, undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
The reality that Jesus was raised from the dead is our "guarantee" of God's promise. There are many things people rely on. Some hope in the their ability to do good. They depend on their power, possessions, reputation, or wealth. In a time when so many place their hope in their identity quantified by the culture, by gaming, entertainment, or social media, our true identity is found in God's Word. Listen, haters gonna hate! People, jealous of your relationship with God, will "troll" you.
In a culture that honors perversion as courage and heroism --where we establish protections for murderers on death row, while legislation to murder a baby, even during birth, is greeted with a standing ovation, things are not normal. How can death row be safer than a mothers womb? We must turn back to God's WORD to find the absolute authority and our LIVING Hope.
To see evil, look at the news, social media and our ever darkening culture. To see good, open your eyes to God's WORD. Search the Scriptures. In them you will behold God, His goodness and your inheritance of a LIVING HOPE.
And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt harken unto the voice of the Lord thy God -- Deut 28:2 (see vs 3-9)
What voice are you listening to? God promises when we listen and obey, His blessings will follow us and chase us down! Our most sincere wish does not have a fraction of the power that flows from the simplest prayer when we have put our HOPE in Him. Thank God for our LIVING HOPE. Blessed in the City, Blessed in the country. Blessed coming in. Blessed going out. Chased down by the blessings of God. Now that is Living Hope!

1) FORCES ASSEMBLED AGAINST LIFE !
As women's groups continue to lobby for a woman's right to "CHOOSE," we ignore the plight of millions of innocent baby girls who were never given the "choice" to live.Their lives were snuffed out by a selfish society consumed with personal choice & happiness, rather than responsibility and compassion.
The blood of 58 million babies cries for justly deserved judgment. Now as New York passes a late term abortion bill to a standing ovation, in our Virginia Legislature they offer a bill to "abort" a baby even when the mother is 8 cm dilated.

"Keep the baby comfortable as mother and doctors decide if 'it' shall live," says Virginia Governor Northam. Under Virginia law, this suggestion, post utero, is nothing short of cold-blooded murder!
Lord have mercy on us all. Help us, as the family of God, to offer life-saving alternatives to mothers in the valley of decision, as well as the hope of forgiveness and healing in Jesus, to those who have made that regrettable choice. |
2) SWEDEN/SOS MISSION
We appreciate your prayers for Sweden. We had wonderful ministry at School of Ministry, Leadership Academy and the "prayer days" gatherings at SOS Stockholm with international evangelist, Johannes Amritzer and Mission SOS. It’s been our honor to work with them over the last 4 years in Africa with the Africa Capital Cities Tour of Mission SOS. This year we will be with SOS in Morogoro, Tanzania, (June 15-24), and and Arsuha (July 12 to 22). Pray and consider joining us with a team from your church or Center for ministry at one of these amazing festivals.
Also pray with them as they coordinate with Christian at Sweden TC and Tom Bremer at the Europe TC office to develop options to launch a residential program in Stockholm. SOS has an amazing ministry to addicts, prisoners coming out of incarceration, and refugee families.
3) PRAYER REVOLUTION- June 14, 2019
Men’s Huddle International is working in conjunction with Promise Keepers, Road-to-Jerusalem, Virginia National Day of Prayer & local prayer organizations to birth this call to gather men in prayer at our nation’s capital, Washington, D.C. on Saturday, June 15, 2019. We pray this sacred assembly of prayer will release a Prayer Revolution.
Our hope is that you can join us in Washington, DC on Saturday, June 15, 2019 across from the White House for the "Men’s Huddle Prayer Event." We desire your prayers for this national gathering of men and similar regional and local events that are planned for 2019 for the expressed purpose of reshaping the spiritual environment in this country, beginning first with ourselves.
4) ADDICTION
While we recognize the most critical need in battling addiction is the transforming power of Jesus, we pray for wisdom to stop the flow of narcotics across our southern border. Last week U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials made their biggest fentanyl bust, capturing nearly 254 pounds of the deadly synthetic opioid. (One kilogram can deliver one million deadly doses.) Fentanyl has caused a surge in fatal overdoses around the U.S. The Sinaloa cartel controls the drug trade and fatal fentanyl. Overdoses are rising, fentanyl is now the drug most often involved in fatal overdoses across the country, accounting for more than 18,000, or almost 29 percent, of the 63,000 overdose fatalities.
5) AFRICA-M*SS*ON SOS

The M*SS*on SOS gear did not make it out of Rwanda. At the border, as the truck awaited clearance, a vehicle lost its brakes crashing into our truck and eight other vehicles.

There was a huge explosion, a blazing inferno and the containers, the entire stage, lighting, and sound equipment were consumed. All of the festival gear valued at approximately US$1.5 million has been lost and the system must be reconfigured in time for the June outreach in Tanzania. A truck fire will not stop momentum, but they need your prayers and as the Lord leads -- financial help..
