MINISTRY IN NIGERIA |
 |
NIGERIA: What an incredible time of ministry in Nigeria. Powering through military stops, police checkpoints, and Satanic opposition, God carried us in His grace and love. Even the situations in Mali and Algeria that pushed tensions high here with Boko Haram and other extremist groups could not hinder the move of God. I am so glad God is in complete control. The General Council of Nigeria Assemblies of God was an overwhelming success. With over 6-7 million adherents & 15,000 congregations, they have a burden to reach their nation. |

Over 40 District Superintendents met with us to express interest starting a TC Center in their district.
In Jos, where the new center is being launched, we were blessed by the incredible support of the churches. The Teen Challenge in Jos is on the contested border of the Christan and Muslim Neighborhood. Even the Imman has pledged his support that we might shared Jesus "the healer" with addicts. |
 |
On Friday night over 2,000 gathered for prayer from 8 pm to 6 am as we interceded for Teen Challenge and a season of "Crossing over" for the church. ON Sudnay I was honered to presetn diplomas at the Teen Challenge graduation Ceremony with David of Omih as 40 students who had completed Living Free and GSNC prepared to serve. |

Mohammed, once the leading striker in Nigerian Premier League soccer, lived in a 2 million dollar home. Now he walks the streets addicted to wine and Jobu. He prayed to receive Jesus Christ and is scheduled to come into the Teen Challenge program. He shared' "I am tired of running. I have lost everything. I am ready for a miracle. I want to be free." |

PARDON ME, GOD!
"Pardon the iniquity of this people, I pray, according to the greatness of Your mercy, just as You have forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now." Then the Lord said: "I have pardoned, according to your word; "but truly, as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord -
Numbers 14:19-21
God was angry and fed up with His people. God wanted Moses to see His frustration, and told Moses He was going to kill them all and start over. After all He had delivered them from, the people still reverted to unbelief. Ten times He had rescued them, and they still rebelled against His plans.
But Moses prayed.
And God pardoned... because Moses prayed.
Who stood in the gap for you when you were rebellious against God's plan?
Will you stand in the gap today for those who are filled with unbelief?
Will you ask God to forgive His church from their apathy and selfish ways?

A FRESH CALL TO PRAYER
Dr Nance is inviting TC leaders across the USA and around the world to the second annual
Prayer Summit, Feb 9-11,
in Seale, AL |
It all began Feb. 9, 1958, when God placed a burden on the heart of David Wilkerson to focus on prayer and spend less time watching TV. He put an advertisement in the newspaper to sell his TV. He prayed, "Lord, if it sells in the first 30 minutes after the newspapers hit homes, I will know that it is you." Before 30 minutes had passed David Wilkerson received a call and his TV was sold. This began 19 days of prayer that led to the birth of Teen Challenge.

Rev Don Wilkerson will be the keynote speaker on February 9, and will kick off 40 hours 24 hour prayer, worship, and intercession. We want to invite you to continue afterwards and participate in 19 days of intercession with specific focuses and prayers of proclamation for each of those 19 days. Join us CLICK FOR DETAILS

PARTNER
PRAYER
FOCUS |
1) SENSITIVE NATION:
Please pray for one of our GTC workers that has had some registration issues in their country. Pray for favor, that issues will be resolved and others on team will not be affected by the attention being give to our worker. They request THAT ask that i mention to you to, "talk to our father about THE NEED."
2) "Remember those in prison as if you were their fellow prisoners, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering." Hebrews 13:3
American Pastor Saeed Abedini, who has been jailed in Iran since September for his faith, is still missing, according to the American Center for Law and Justice. On Friday, a huge development for the case, both the U.S. State Dept. and the White House spoke out finally condemning Iran for its imprisonment of Pastor Saeed, a U.S. citizen. Both have called on Iran to release him.
Abedini has been charged with attempting to undermine the Iranian government through his work starting house churches in the Islamic Republic. At 9am in Tehran, Iran (5.30am UK, 12.30am New York, 6.30pm New Zealand), Pastor Abedini, was to go before one of Iran's most notorious "hanging judges" on charges of compromising national security. Court documents indicate that the charges are directly related to Abedini's work starting a house church movement, and his supporters say it is a clear case of a Christian being punished for his beliefs.
3) Pray for the preparations and logistics of the Global Prayer Summit at Lakeside Retreat and Conference Center in Seale, Alabama. If you cannot attend, please plan to join us on the LIVE 24 hour VIDEO stream.
4) After a tremendous meeting of the Global Teen Challenge World Board, please pray for safe return and the blessing up God to carry out the vision Father laid in our hearts as we gathered to together to pray for the need.
6) NETHERLANDS:
“Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” 2 Kings 6:16
Never before have we seen such breakthrough in the ministry of Teen Challenge Netherlands. We are opening youth centers and seeing lives changed at our center for men. Literally we are seeing God setting lives free! We have many requests asking to open up woman’s homes, Teen Homes and eight more youth centers!
With this tremendous growth we are also facing many challenges. I have people coming up to me who are getting tired and afraid, just like the servant of Elisha in the scripture verses before the one mentioned above. I have the faith and knowledge to comfort them and say: “Those who are with us are more than those who are with the enemy!” God has and always will provide.
But even I must admit that my faith is being stretched and that the Lord needs to open my eyes to His delivering plan like He did with the servant. Right now we are faced with unprecedented financial struggles. One of the many examples of a challenge we are facing is a full time staff member who needs to go into surgery and won’t be available for two months. Even with her present we are already short staffed. We need a miracle! Please pray for a breakthrough and consider a one-time donation to Teen Challenge Netherlands.
5) Let's pray for the global advance of the gospel. Pray for workers for the Harvest ...Teen Challenge Centers in 94 countries need staff and we currently have invitations to start Teen Challenge in over 30 nations. They are crying out for help. They need the power of God to meet a pressing social need... but we know it has a SPIRITUAL ROOT.
We offer SPIRITUAL RESOURCES to meet the need.
MATTHEW 9: 37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. 38 Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.” |
