From the tens of thousands touched in Haiti, to individuals like Lou, above, who came in from the snow at the mission in Canada, God’s love still prevails. As the 100 degree temps we encountered in hurricane battered Haiti dipped to minus ten in Canada, from storm ravaged New York City, to the first blizzard of the season in Manitoba, God proved Himself mighty. One friend suggested God was giving us a new calling as a storm chasers. Though we do not chase storms, we do follow the ONE who chases the storms and “stills them” by His Word of power.
We THANK GOD for partners like you! Along with our family, among the many blessings that God has bestowed on us, we stand in awe and in gratitude for the wonderful brothers and sisters that support and pray for us. We cannot do it without you! As we celebrate Thanksgiving, please know that YOU are one of the blessings for whom we are most thankful. HAPPY THANKSGIVING .Bernie & Cathy |

Following the recent election I have heard a great deal of despair, doubt and worry. Concerned that their candidate did not find popular support in the electorate, some have their entire outlook and demeanor clouded by the illusion of political reality.
What a tragedy to spend Thanksgiving in despair and miss the blessing of enjoying God's greatest present, the gift of His presence. One thing is clear, more than percentage points, talking points, and partisan politics separate us. Do not forget God's word. |
MIRACLES IN CENTRAL CANADA

|
|
|
| But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope:The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. "The LORD is my portion," says my soul, "therefore I will hope in him." Lam 3:21-24 |
Hosted by Margaret and Steve Paulson, we had a tremendous time of ministry that took us from the streets to church to powerful banquets across Central Canada. |
|
It is essential in this hour, amidst all of the confusion, promotion, distortions and promises, that we hear the voice of God. The solution is not political, it is spiritual.
There is no scriptural command to fret, worry or despair regarding government. Through the ages, God's people are called to pray for their leaders. Godly or ungodly government, even in the face of an occupying army, we are called to pray. The key is this . . . (click to continue) |

With so many pictures we could share, from large church meetings and banquets, the heart of Winnipeg TC, to reach the lost and broken so showed through in the eyes, tears and smiles of these men in outreach, that we felt compelled to share them |

The unbridled joy of new life, replacing the anger & hopelessness that we saw in their eyes is captured in the photos. It was an exciting time as we were joined by Greg Fischer from GTC and Alan Turley from TCUSA to minister. |

Steve Paulson received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal recognizing excellence in Humanitarian outreach for his work with Teen Challenge Central Canada, presented by the honorable Cabinet Member, Vic Toews,
Minister of Public Safety. |

With centers in Winnipeg, Flin Flon, Brandon & Thunder Bay, ON, TC Central Canada is at the living edge of changed lives and miracles.

THANKSGIVING-AN AMERICAN HOLIDAY WITH A GODLY FOUNDATION |
US President, Abraham Lincoln Wrote, "I do invite my fellow-citizens in every part of the United States, those who are at sea, and those who are sojourning in foreign lands, to set apart and observe the last Thursday of November next as a day of thanksgiving and praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the heavens.
Click for the entire text of the original proclamation.
George Washington authorized the first Thanksgiving Day in 1789, 74 years passed without another such day of thanks. Then Abraham Lincoln established the holiday as an annual event in American life. His Thanksgiving Proclamation is worth reading today: |
|
In 1863, CRISIS led President. Abraham Lincoln to reaffirm George Washington's declaration to call the USA to prayer and Thanksgiving. We may not be in a time of CIVIL WAR in 2012, but the circumstances of this divided nation, presidential election, Iran, Afghanistan and Iraq, and the world economy in troubled times call us to a fresh infusion of prayer and THANKSGIVING. |

SIBERIA: PRAISE REPORT
Dear Bernie & Cathy,
Today the court case resumed, but the judge has postponed his decision. The prosecutor finally brought the key prosecution witness to court to testify against Teen Challenge. Instead of speaking negatively he testified in favor of the program and actually said he had been set free from alcohol addiction there.
Also, one of the current staff members was brought to the stand, and he shared his testimony how the Lord had set him free from his addictions through the Teen Challenge program. The judge wants to hear more testimonies.
Please continue to pray that God would be so glorified through this trial that there would be a great witness for Christ to people who would have never heard otherwise. Words can't express how thankful we are for your prayers! It's not over yet. However, what the devil meant for evil, God is using for good. We know that this change is occurring because of your faithful prayers. We'll keep you posted with the outcome.
We sincerely thank God for you!
Ilya and Janet
1) STOP AND THANK GOD FOR at least 10 blessings today. Things we take for granted, roads, bridges, water and electricity are only a distant dream for many in Africa and around the world.
2) PRAY for mercy-for the safety of our great nation and our soldiers who serve in harsh conditions in Afghanistan and around the world as we enjoy their protection in this God Blessed land.
3) Let us pray that the USA would come back to the God of the Bible, and would begin to trust His word more than our own abilities. Let's intercede for a real spiritual, biblical breakthrough today!
4) Father, we are thankful for your many mercies! Teach us to become small in our own eyes, so You can become big. Forgive us for our self-reliance. Help us even when we don't see our need for Your help.
Draw us near to Your heart again. Forgive our wayward and independent spirits. We truly need You more than we think.
5) Let's pray for our city and country.
"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord..." Psalm 33:12
6) Pray for wisdom for our congressmen and representatives. That God would speak to our leaders' hearts. Protect us from ourselves, may real faith make In God we trust a reality. We thank You for America, and by faith we declare our trust in you.
7) Let's pray for the global advance of the gospel.
8) Pray for safety for the workers of Teen Challenge around the world.
9) Pray for workers for the Harvest ...Teen Challenge Centers in 92 countries need staff and we currently have invitations to start Teen Challenge in 41 nations. They are crying out for help. They need the power of God to meet a pressing social need... but we know it has a SPIRITUAL ROOT. We offer SPIRITUAL RESOURCES to meet the need.
MATTHEW 9: 37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. 38 Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.” |
