 I am writing to you from Dominican Republic, I am excited about the next 12 days of ministry here in Santiago. In 2006 the first Jimmy Jack Crusade at Estadia Cibau baseball Stadium drew tens of thousands and had a profound impact on the churches and City of Santiago. Thousands met Jesus and the Crusade led to the launch of the Teen Challenge Men's Center. Crusades followed in 2007 and 2008 with powerful results and thousands encountering Jesus for the first time. We saw miracles! Many were set free from drugs and healed. |
With continuing growth at the men’s home, the addition of a women’s facility, and a new property purchased for the projected Caribbean School of Ministry, Pastor Jimmy Jack and Rock the Block have been invited to return to the Santiago FREEDOM Monument for 3 days of power-packed music, testimony and ministry in the WORD. I am honored to join Jocelyn Areas, J-Crue, JAZ, the Rock the Block Dancers, and Pastor Jimmy Jack as we minister true freedom. |

In the USA, we celebrate Independence Day on the fourth of July to honor the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the birth of the United States of America. It is a day of picnics and patriotic parades followed by a night of concerts and fireworks. On this day in 1776, the Declaration of Independence was signed launching the 13 colonies on the quest for freedom as a sovereign nation and Christian Republic. In 1776, 2.5 million people lived in the newly independent nation. In 2010 the populations exceeds 306 million, in fact the population has swelled by more than 2.6 million in the last year.
Even in these challenging economic times the resources available here in this wonderful nation defy the poverty I see as I travel the world. On top of that, the most valuable resource exported by the United States is not a commodity, but the promise of hope delivered by missionaries and ministers that have crossed the earth with the good news of the gospel. I pray in this hour that the words of truth and freedom will again resound IN AMERICA. We must rage against the voice of the secular humanism and political confusion of this new millennium. As GLOBAL TEEN CHALLENGE reaches around the world with a message of Freedom, continue to stand with us in prayer for real freedom. The only way to true freedom is for America to turn back to GOD. INDEPENDENCE through DEPENDENCE on GOD here in the USA. |

It is now three years since the first raid on Teen Challenge Kazakhstan by the Religion and Terrorism Police. In all we have had seven "inspections" by Kazakh security services at our centers and despite prosecutions by the State following those raids we have not been found guilty for that which we were falsely accused.
I am writing to you from the occupied country of Georgia that admits 10% of its adult population is addicted. Why such high rates of addiction? I have no doubt that the presence of Russian tanks and soldiers only 100kms from the capital Tbilisi is a major contributing factor. CLICK FOR MORE

Some of you may have followed a recent conversation with me on FACEBOOK when one of my regular critics offered his assessment that America is not and never was a Christian nation. It is a clear evidence of the lack of knowledge of history and blessing that God has bestowed on this nation Did you know that 52 of the 55 signers of The Declaration of Independence were orthodox, deeply committed Christians? The other three all believed in the Bible as the divine truth, the God of scripture, and His personal intervention.
It is the same congress that formed the American Bible Society and immediately after creating the Declaration of Independence, the Continental Congress voted to purchase and import 20,000 copies of scripture for the people of this nation. Most Americans know the words of Patrick Henry, "Give me liberty or give me death." Current textbooks have deleted the context of these words:
Here is what he said: "An appeal to arms and the God of hosts is all that is left us. But we shall not fight our battle alone. There is a just God that presides over the destinies of nations. The battle sir, is not of the strong alone. Is life so dear or peace so sweet as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it almighty God. I know not what course others may take, but as for me, give me liberty, or give me death." These sentences have been erased from our textbooks.
Was Patrick Henry a Christian? In, 1776, he wrote, ""It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religion, but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Recently our President shared with world leaders that America in not a Christian country but a secular state with many faiths. I do not want to quibble over words, but this is a significant distinction and a deviation from the historic roots of our nation. The United States of America is not a secular state that tolerates Christianity. We are a Christian nation who, because of our vibrant Christian faith, is free to welcome dialogue and the free practice of other religions inside our borders.
On the surface 4th of July commemorates the struggle of a nation seeking political freedom through military action but freedom is so much more. As servants of Jesus Christ, we understand that real Freedom is not possible by earthy conquest. Real freedom is possible only through the finished work of Jesus Christ and the victory he won in this continuing spiritual warfare. It is essential that in prayer and Spiritual authority we must seize the promise of this day.
It is because of His gift that INDEPENDENCE is possible, but only through DEPENDENCE ... ON HIM! |

1 Continue to pray for Rev Jesse Owens, a wonderful partner of Teen Challenge and founder of the Global Renewal. He is home following heart catheterization and they were able to treat the blockage with a balloon! Jesse will be discharged this afternoon at 5:00 pm.
2:SEOUL SOUTH KOREA: Jonathan AIRD TC Executive Director is sty ill in the hospital with Meningitis Pray for him and his family during this difficult time. We trusting God for a miracle.
3) Please [ray for Rock the Block Santiago as well as the Me-;s and Women's Teen Challenge Centers there. We are excited, not only for the thousands that will receive Christ while we are there, but the continuing legacy of Teen Challenge in the City and their partnership with Long Island and Minnesota Teen Challenge who is launching a new Center in Haiti.
7) Pray for workers for the Harvest ...Teen Challenge Centers in 86 countries need staff and we currently have invitations to start Teen Challenge in 43 nations. They are crying out for help. They need the power of God to meet a pressing social need... but we know it has a SPIRITUAL ROOT.
We offer SPIRITUAL RESOURCES to meet the need.

38 Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.” |
