LIBERIA AFRICA: As the Liberia Steering committee struggled to start, Global Teen Challenge partnered with Dr. LeRoy Gruner and Minnesota Teen Challenge to send Charles Obiese to assist with the launch. After just 2 weeks God opened the doors and they were in new OUTREACH offices. The office was burned to the ground .

They were set up in an office in the Red Light District. The building was surrounded by wearing poverty, prostitutes and drug addiction. They were seeing wonderful success in outreach and continue powerful street meetings from my visit in November last year. We thank the Lord that no staff were injured. May these fading flames serve only as a. Just be a reminder of the enduring fire of God's love that burns for this community. We stand on the promise of Isaiah 61:3 To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes. We truly believe this opposition is just one more evidence that Liberia Teen Challenge is a "planting of the Lord" (Is 61:3). Pray with us that God will bring beauty from these actions

A shalom from Israel … I received this wonderful video from Eric Benson as he ministered to the men of the House of Victory on Mount Arbel. On a recent trip through the Galilee they had a time of worshipping the Lord together. The video captured their beautiful day together walking in the footsteps of Jesus.  This particular clip was videoed as Eric taught on the mountain top near the Sea of Galilee. 1 )Pray for Mike and Mona Shields as they minister to the people of Chile (click here for update) The are working with other missionaries as the nation recovers from an earthquake occurred off the coast of the Maule Region, rating an 8.8 magnitude lasting 90 seconds. The earthquake triggered a tsunami which devastated coastal towns in south-central Chile and damaged the port at. Continue to pray for Haiti, for strength for the rescue workers, and wisdom for the pastors.

2) Pray for Liberia Teen Challenge. Charles Obieze has been doing a wonderful job there. They had set up an office in the Red Light District and are doing outreach. It is surrounded with addicts and prostitutes and it has been burned to the ground. None of the Teen Challenge staff were injured.

3) Please pray for Rev Don Rogers. He has suffered serious complications for Quintuple By Pass Surgery, with liver failure and he is currently on a ventilator. He is a wonderful man of God. He has sowed much into my life here in Virginia. Pray for he and his faithful wife.

4 ) VIRGINIA-SOUTH AFRICA -- Thank you for your prayers for Herman Viljoen-- Director of Eden Teen Challenge in South Africa. He now home and continuing his recovery from open heart surgery. The doctors gave him less than an 11% chance of survival, God showed himself mighty.

5 ) Please pray for the Lausanne Council on World Evangelism USA In October and Mission Africa as we connect Global Resources and our Teen Challenge Centers in Africa for Evangelism.

6) Pray for workers for the Harvest ...Teen Challenge Centers in 86 countries need staff and we currently have invitations to start Teen Challenge in 43 nations. They are crying out for help. They need the power of God to meet a pressing social need... but we know it has a SPIRITUAL ROOT. We offer SPIRITUAL RESOURCES to meet the need
.MATTHEW 9: 37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. 38 Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”

Valley Forge Christian College has weather the visit of the gay Activists. Thank you to all of you that have been praying for the school and students. All four of my children graduated from that tremendous University and I praise God for Dr Meyer, the faculty and the report of victory we received.

Many of you joined us to pray for them when we learned that this, a gay rights organization, Soul Force demanded that VFCC provide open access to the campus as part of its “Equality Ride” in March. The group has been organizing “Equality Rides” for the past few years, consisting of a bus load of 30-35 people to protest.
