LIBERIA
MISSION |
I am flying again to AFRICA.
Liberia has recently ended 20 years of Civil War. The population is fractured and government is struggling. We will join Fr. Roger Sonnesyn and Full Gospel Businessmen Fellowship for a National Convention. Working closely with Charles Obiese of Minnesota Teen Challenge and visionary leaders, we will be there laying groundwork to launch a Teen Challenge Ministry in Monrovia, at the instruction Mike Zello, Africa GTC Coordinator. |
We had a wonderful time of Spiritual Impact and Banquets with Louisiana Teen Challenge. |
LOUISIANA TEEN CHALLENGE

|
We will be partnering with FGBMFI Nigerian leaders of seven chapters for a Liberian National Convention. We will also meet with chapter leaders from Nigeria, visit businesses, and train men for evangelism to witness in the drug dens and prostitute centers of Monrovia. They need the healing touch of Jesus. Let us pray, intercessors! Your prayers are critical as we go into areas of spiritual bondage and your partnership is strategic for the move of the Holy Spirit. Help to make it a blessed, powerful time. |

~~LIBERIA BACKGROUND~~
The first settlers reached Liberia's shores in 1816 on a U.S. Navy ship supported by grants from the U.S. Treasury filled with freed slaves to spearhead black resettlement of Africa's west coast. The nation was created in a missionary move of freed American slaves. FGBMFI has wide-spread acceptance and will be a wonderful partner for Teen Challenge. There is a deep historical connection with the United States. English and French are widely spoken. |
|
We have known Greg and Gail Dill for over 28 years. Their faithfulness to the ministry of New Orleans and Louisiana are absolutely amazing!
I truly enjoyed directing the
All Louisiana State Teen Challenge Choir, but the resurrection and growth of this ministry following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina 4 years ago is nothing short of Supernatural. |

God has used Greg and Gail to resurrect this ministry twice. .... First in 1987, when the doors first closed because of local failures. When everyone ran for cover they remained steadfast. Other Centers around the USA wanted to hire Greg and Gail, but they stayed on to resurrect the Center.
....
Then in 2005, following Hurricane Katrina, when flood waters and broken levees nearly wiped out the faculties, they again stayed the course. As centers from across the USA came to their aid. They have seen unparalleled growth.

The rebuilding of the men's Center was a testimony of the partnership of T C Centers across the USA and the perseverance of the Dills. Their vision has piloted the program from humble beginnings to a thriving complex of centers for men and women across Louisiana. |

LOUISIANA TEEN CHALLENGE VISION 2009
PROVEN RESULTS - PROMISING FUTURE |
|
God is opening exciting doors in Lake Charles, where they are seeking a facility to open their first women and children's program in 2010.
 |
As we prayed at the Lake Charles Banquet, we received the exciting news that "zoning" had cleared the new 4 million dollar nursing home, donated for a Center in
Northern Louisiana. |

 |
Greg and Abigail Dill persevered to save a local Center in New Orleans and, through their faithfulness, God has now given them the entire State. What powerful testimony of God's power! http://www.louisianateenchallenge.com.
Ministering, right, I am in front of a mural that was painted by Mark Eckle, Splat Experience, in the 7 minutes before I preached. He shared powerful multimedia expression of Christ in the Arts. The 8 foot mural was later auctioned to meet the needs of Teen Challenge Louisiana at the conclusion of the Banquet. |

PRAY FOR LIBERIA |
Check out the wonderful ministry of Mark Eckle and the Splat Experience at www.splatexperience.com.
The only blessing greater than his ministry, was the character of Christ he modeled "off stage" as we ministered last week! |
Please pray for Louisiana Teen Challenge as, at the time of this writing, Hurricane Ida is bearing down on the gulf coast-They still have 2 more banquets |

We offer SPIRITUAL RESOURCES to meet the need.
