| MINISTRY IN AFRICA CONTINUES - SWAZILAND Leadership Training |

Greetings prayer partners,
Well, it is hard to imagine I am writing to you from a Boeing 777 as we fly over Baghdad right now. My fight to Africa was interrupted by weather problems and we were diverted to the Middle East . . . So now I am in route to Africa by way of Abu Dhabi, Dubai. There I layover for 8 hours, catch an Emirates Flight to Jo-burg, and then a Swazi Air Link twin engine into Swaziland. It is interesting that, on our flight tracking software, we are reminded of the mileage and direction to Mecca every 2 minutes. Frankly, I am more focused on the New Jerusalem. |

We are excited as we begin a week of powerful training here in the Southern Tier of Africa. East African staff and leaders from Kenya and Tanzania will join Liberia, Botswana, Zambia, Ethiopia and Southern African Centers for 6 powerful days of cutting edge training, dynamic worship and inspiring fellowship

VIDEO - SCHEDULE - TEACHERS
Those involved in ministry to addicts and people with life-controlling problem will come from across Africa to be trained and address important issues with staff from Teen Challenge Centers in 8 other countries. |

A pastor brought these four young men to Mike and I for prayer at the end of the crusade- their eyes, their hearts and the stories that they shared remind us of |

the need and that the work in Tanzania is just beginning. We need a center for them. Stand with us in prayer. |

One of the exciting features of this crusade, was the ability to connect with people who had prayed, fasted, and given to make the Hope and Destiny Crusades a reality. Thanks to the technology of the day- Pastor Jim was able to connect to the main sanctuary of Freedom Chapel's Sunday morning worship service in New York City and the entire congregation joined the crusade team, via skype-LIVE. They prayed for the thousands who packed the altar on the final night. |

IN TANZANIA MINISTRY CONTINUES
HELLO MY BROTHER,
This is Chris Kirton, Just wanted to say Hi, and let you know that I visited one of the churches that hosted you. Afterwards, I went to KURASINI to witness. In a remote area we came across about 75 young men, sitting around smoking weed, wasting their lives away. We preached JESUS to them and most of them said, "Please, I want to change." As we offered JESUS, they stood to their feet and accepted Him.
We spoke of your ministry here in Tanzania, and told them, "You are nor forgotten." I am trying to get them BIBLES now. PRAY, and what ever you can do to assist other then PRAY, I wait for you reply. Thank GOD you are HERE in the NAME of JESUS. ... Christopher Kirton ..... (see right) |
| Were able to connect the men to left with Bibles with the help of Book of Hope. Leaders from Tanzania are with us for training at the Swaziland Leadership Training Institute this week. |
Over 25,000 Books of Hope were distributed at the altars to those who prayed to receive Christ and local pastors were encourage to engage their culture at a new level.
We initially expected 100,000 people, but the size of the audience was compromised on the opening nights of the crusade in Tanzania. Fear of confrontation due to Ramadan, and hesitancy for people to come to grounds where Christians were celebrating in a largely Muslim community during a time of solemnity, kept tens of thousands away. Despite the fact that many were afraid to come initially, word of the move of God spread swiftly and the crowd grew dramatically each night. Tens of thousands crowded the venue on the final night of the crusade and there were literally thousands at the altar being saved, delivered and healed. |
A special deliverance tent had to be set up following the second night of the crusade as we saw demons manifesting at the altar and in the crowd. The indigenous leadership provided over 250 ushers who were skilled in managing these incidents. Pastoral leaders along with crusade team members handled this important work as Pastor Jimmy and the music team continued the ministry from the main stage without interruption. Often deliverance ministry continued even after the crusade was "over." Check out this link from my FACEBOOK . . . "delivered"
