Thank you so much to those who prayed me through my bout with a MSRA/ pseudomonas infection and the physical setbacks the week before departure. The Lord surely showed Himself mighty in healing power and I am grateful for your prayers. After spending a few days in Nairobi, Kenya, I flew to Tanzania to meet with the organizing committee. I returned to Kenya as the Lord is doing a great work in both countries as we count down to miracles |

| Through the sauntering hustle bustle of the clogged city avenues there is a cry from the street, a cry from the heart of Addicts bound in sin. Crippled by changa in the North Mathare district, over 1 million are search from a way out of their despair and wearing poverty. From my the miracles of my first visit to Nairobi in 2008, God has been speaking a word of deliverance. Jimmy Jack, with Global Teen Challenge, has taken on the mantle to touch this City and Dr Ron Kenoly will also join us for 3 days of powerful ministry. |

| Kamukunji Grounds was the site of bloody riots over 2 decades ago in protest of cruel dictator. It was on July 7, 1990, that Kenyans gathered to defy the Moi-Kanu dictatorship and 22 of them were martyred. The Moi-Kanu dictatorship has been thrown down, but there is a new dictator on the scene. Addiction, changa, "bangi," weed, heroin are exacting a terrible toll on Kenya. That is why is it is so significant that this "Jimmy Jack" Hope and Destiny Kenya will take place on these historic grounds. |

This time they will come, not to battle for political freedom, but spiritual freedom and to break the tyranny of addiction. Despite the devastating poverty and pain in this slum, the children are hungry for hope. When I rapped and sang to them, the laughed and ran up to touch my "Mzungu (white man) hair" and plead for a blessing. The children did not ask for candy, they asked only for water. |

AS we invaded Kamukunji with the Word, in an interview with Pastor Jimmy Jack, Eli Ropp of God TV, called Africa to prayer as the crusade team brings the gospel to the one of the worst slums in Africa calling it the "Sodom and Gomorrah" of East Africa. God Channel is broadcasting the meetings from Nairobi and Dar Es Salaam to 10 million homes in East Africa and considering a satellite uplink world-wide. |

largest city of Kenya. It is the
most populous city in East Africa, with a population of 3 million, Mathare its worst slum.

1) Please pray for Rock the Block in Kenya and Tanzania as they are in flight over the Atlantic on the way to Kenya. Pray for the indigenous committee leaders, musicians, dancers, and ministers of the word who will join Jimmy Jack and Dr. Ron Kenoly for this wonderful outreach Aug 16, Kamukunji Grounds, NAIROBI, Kenya and Aug 21-24, Jangwani, Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
2) Pray for rain for Kenya and Tanzania ( the day after the Crusades or only at night . . . The drought here is reaching crisis proportions.
Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ,
We have developed a formal fasting schedule for the Africa Trip. We know there are countless others praying, including the congregation but we just wanted to put something formal down on tablets. Team and some prayer concerns. Everyday Teen Challenge (TC) will be praying @ 9am
They are also fasting 1/2 days on Tuesday and Friday
Please keep all the musicians, technicians, sound, and performers in prayer also

4) Pray for safety for the workers of Teen Challenge around the world and the ministry of Kenya Teen Challenge as well as preparations for the launch of the new center in Tanzania
5) Pray for workers for the Harvest ...Teen Challenge Centers in 86 countries need staff and we currently have invitations to start Teen Challenge in 43 nations. They are crying out for help. They need the power of God to meet a pressing social need... but we know it has a SPIRITUAL ROOT.
We offer SPIRITUAL RESOURCES to meet the need.
