SAN JOSE, CA: We met Dana and Randy first in 1985 at Rocky Mountain Teen Challenge, Colorado with Royce and Wilma Nimmons (Dana's parents) as we toured with the Teen Challenge Choir from PA. What an honor to be invited to join them in 2009 in San Jose, CA to celebrate 30 years of TC ministry. We had the opportunity to teach, preach the word, and direct their student body choir at the celebration. We were so blessed to honor Dana and Randy for their faithfulness and to be a part.

CAMBODIA: God is really working in and through Teen Challenge in Cambodia. We have students coming in to our program from day to day. We need our Holy Spirit to lead us in helping these students and at the same time we also ask you to continue to support us so that the Kingdom will be established through these young wonderful men. The OAS sent their Secretary to investigate the situation here in Honduras. He would not talk to the acting President, nor the branches of State (Supreme Court, Congress) but insists that what happened was a military coup. This despite the fact that the acting President did not order the military action. The Supreme Court and Ministry of Public Affairs ordered the action to oust Manuel Zelaya for illegal acts.hese folks are pro Honduras and are backing up the congresses decision. Pray for Teen Challenge and the Ministry of David and Marie Turner. |

As we count down to Crusades in Kenya and Tanzania we are asking not only for prayers for the meetings, but the team logistics. Delta Airlines cannot fly the new route to Nairobi so we lost tickets for 16 team members. Pray for Pete DiCroce who is working hard on logistics with a few flights still needing to be rebooked. Pray for worship team rehearsals, printing, literature distribution and promotion. |

with a population 2.5 mil it is the largest and richest city Tanzania.

1) Please pray for Rock the Block in Kenya and Tanzania. Pray for the indigenous committee leaders. musicians, dancers, and ministers of the word who will join Jimmy Jack and Dr. Ron Kenoly for this wonderful outreach Aug 16, Kamukunji Grounds, NAIROBI, Kenya and Aug 21-24, Jangwani, Des Es Salaam, Tanzania.
2) Pray for the San Jose SPIRITUAL IMPACT and their 30 year celebration here in Northern California .
3) Pray for the Base Camp at Yuchi Teen Challenge in Seale Alabama this week.
Base Camp is geared to new Teen Challenge staff – whether or not they have been through the program.

One of our goals with Base Camp is to be intentional in capturing the heritage and purpose of Teen Challenge – to keep the focus of Teen Challenge on evangelism and discipleship and prayerfully avoid “the drift” that other organizations have experienced.
-
Another goal is for Base Camp to be a “bridge tool” – to equip “Gen Next” to carry on the legacy of our pioneers.
4) THIS WEEK ! ! ! Pray for Jonathan Manou and his team as they continue to ministry in Mauritius. GOSPEL FESTIVAL 2009 in Port Louis is this week. They are facing some tremendous financial challenges and are asking for prayers for sponsors and financial needs as well as those who will be a part of this FIRST OF ITS KIND FESTIVAL -- (CLICK FOR DETAILS).
5) Pray for workers for the Harvest ...Teen Challenge Centers in 86 countries need staff and we currently have invitations to start Teen Challenge in 43 nations. They are crying out for help. They need the power of God to meet a pressing social need... but we know it has a SPIRITUAL ROOT.
We offer SPIRITUAL RESOURCES to meet the need.
