Dear Intercessors,
I know on the fourth of July, some will feel my focus should be on patriotism and the promise of freedom to our nation. Yet all I sense is the cry of God to our nation to come to Him in humility and repentance. Freedom is not free, our nation was born on the blood of Patriots and is nurtured through the faithfulness of God. On the Fourth, when the fireworks are over, the heart of Godwill cry for His people to come back to Him. At the root of freedom is spiritual reality, not political rhetoric. I have been from New York City to Northern Calfirinia in the last week and I hear the cry of Romans 10.
Romans 10:20-21 But Isaiah is so bold as to say, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me. 21 But as for Israel He says, “All the day long I have stretched out My hands to a disobedient and obstinate people.”

In Harlem last week, Rock the Block was a tremendous success. God gave is miracles in weather and miracle on the street as Pastor Jim and the team ministered.

Over 300 made commitments to Christ in Harlem. Church youth teams from South Carolina, Florida and Pennsylvania got a fresh taste of urban evangelism. It is exciting to see these teams coming to New York City to learn the ropes of front line evangelism from Teen Challenge. Teen Challenge was born training young people to minister. |

At the altar we saw these young people leading hungry hearts to a relationship with Jesus Christ. It was exciting to meet Mary Argonzoni, the woman that sang No One Ever Cared for Me like Jesus at the original rally when Nicky Cruz met Jesus. Fifty years later, still singing, still serving Jesus.. |
We had 2 wonderful days shooting video, hearing exciting stories of the founding of Teen Challenge and getting answers to 16 questions posed by new staff for the upcoming "Base Camp" specialized training to impart the spiritual DNA of Teen Challenge to new staff. |

We had a wonderful graduation service at Brooklyn Teen Challenge as God is continuing to call men and women from addiction to new life in Christ.What an honor to minister during this exciting rite of passage and see them reunited with their families, going to the farm in PA or continuing as interns for Teen Challenge.

Just received a fantastic report from our doctor. The cancer is disappearing!
The look on his and the nurse's face was overwhelming. They live their lives to kill cancer. I was reminded of how I live my life, to win souls.

The excitement was contagious.The pictures from the scans said it all. Two tumors had dramatically shrunk, and some other spots of concern were gone. Just wanted you to be the first to know.
Thank you, Jesus for Your healing power, and for the wisdom you have given doctors in this technological age.

As we count down to ministry in Kenya and Tanzania we are asking not only for prayers for the meetings, but the team logistics. we have just teen notified that the TSA has not granted authorization for Delta Airlines to fly the new route to Nairobi, This means that 16 people from out team who were flying Delta have to locate last minute air flights |
NAIROBI is the capital and
largest city of Kenya. It is the
most populous city in East Africa, with a population of 3 million.
DAR ES SALAAM (Arabic:
دار السل( House of Peace), with a population 2.5 mil is the largest and richest city Tanzania.
With huge slum areas, both will be the targets of the AUGUST crusades. |

1) Please pray for Rock the Block in Kenya and Tanzania. Pray for the indigenous committee leaders. musicians, dancers, and ministers of the word who will join Jimmy Jack and Dr. Ron Kenoly for this wonderful outreach Aug 16, Kamukunji Grounds, NAIROBI, Kenya and Aug 21-24, Jangwani, Des Es Salaam, Tanzania.
2) Pray for the San Jose SPIRITUAL IMPACT and their 30 year celebration here in Northern California .
3) Pray for the Base Camp in Yuchi Alabama next week.
- Base Camp is geared to new Teen Challenge staff – whether or not they have been through the program.
- One of our goals with Base Camp is to be intentional in capturing the heritage and purpose of Teen Challenge – to keep the focus of Teen Challenge on evangelism and discipleship and prayerfully avoid “the drift” that other organizations have experienced.
- Another goal is for Base Camp to be a “bridge tool” – to equip “Gen Next” to carry on the legacy of our pioneers.
4) Pray for the continued follow up of those who made commitments to Christ during the Crusade in Mauritius. Here are some pictures to help to stir your heart as you pray.
5) Pray for Jonathan Manou and his team as they prepare to continue to ministry in Mauritius. They are slated for an exciting GOSPEL FESTIVAL 2009 in Port Louis click for details. They are facing some tremendous financial challenges and are asking for prayers for sponsors and financial needs as well as those who will be a part of this FIRST OF ITS KIND FESTIVAL -- (CLICK FOR DETAILS).
6) Pray for workers for the Harvest ...Teen Challenge Centers in 86 countries need staff and we currently have invitations to start Teen Challenge in 43 nations. They are crying out for help. They need the power of God to meet a pressing social need... but we know it has a SPIRITUAL ROOT.
We offer SPIRITUAL RESOURCES to meet the need.

Pray For Europe Teen Challenge as they seek strategies to engage the "Children of Ishmael." While the population statistics have passed natural reversal with the birth rate of "Cultural Christians" in Europe, it does speak to the need for a supernatural move. It is an urgent call to action in these last days. These same population statistics, devastating in the natural, hold promise for the increase of the harvest that must be birthed in prayer and evangelism.
