As the worship following communion brought us to the end of the 40th Anniversary of Europe Teen Challenge in Prague, it would have been easy to feel a let down. . . . But Dennis Griffiths of Southern Cal TC put it best when he said, "There will BE NO let-down because we are already into the next forty years!." If the Lord tarries, that is exactly what they will do! From the 32 Nations of Europe Teen Challenge there is a such sense of destiny and excitement as they are looking forward! | Only heaven will tell the geopolitical implications of the move of the Holy Spirit and Pentecost across Eastern Europe as God brought down the Iron Curtain. The historic photo on the right was taken in Karkut on the eve of the fall of Communism in Czechoslovakia. On November 17, 1989, riot police suppressed a peaceful student demonstration in Prague. That event sparked a series of popular demonstrations. By November 20, the number of peaceful protesters assembled in Prague had swollen from 200,000 the previous day to an estimated half-million. That night, in the TC prayer meeting, God's presence fell. The word of the Lord came, "God will bring down this government without the sheddin
g of one more drop of blood." This was a bold word because such political adventurism had been greeted with tanks and gunfire in Poland and Hungary. |

In the morning Tom Bremer, Petr Ministr and the Teen Challenge team awakened to dancing in the streets at the news that the Communist government had fallen. Called "the velvet Revolution" by historians, the Czech government fell according to the word of the Lord, "without the shedding of one more drop of blood.The Velvet Revolution" is seen as one of the most important of the Revolutions of 1989. The Communist Party of Czechoslovakia announced on November 28 that it would relinquish power and dismantle the single-party state. Barbed wire and other obstructions were removed from the border with West Germany and Austria, the door for the gospel was open. President Gustáv Husák appointed the first largely non-Communist government in Czechoslovakia since 1948, and resigned. Petr Ministr, executive director of Teen Challenge Czech Republic has piloted the ministry of Teen Challenge to one largest Teen Challenges on the continent at the cutting edge for Europe. TC Czech Republic hosted the 40th anniversary in Prague. |

Above, over a decade ago,Tom Bremer joins Sasha and Svetlana Ivanovic as they prayed past personal political safety to release real freedom in the Spirit for their Serbia. Serbia Teen Challenge is now on the cutting edge. As leaders prayed, God continued to move and as victories were won in the Spirit changes came to the nations. Yes, the political landscape changed, but God's love for Europe has remained unchanging. |

Cathy went in for her surgery on Wednesday, April 29. Dr. Tan surgically removed the mass from her left ovary. It was the right decision. It had grown from 5 cm on April 14 to 7.5 cm on April 29 inch. She is home from the hospital and recuperating at home. |
Following her cystectomy hysteroscopy, and DNC we are believing for normal biopsies on the fibroids and the cyst that are in the lab for testing.
Also, please pray for Bern who badly strained a muscle in his side lifting the camera and computer bags in Prague.He goes to the doctor tomorrow, He leaves for Africa in 2 weeks. |

TODAY, Europe faces a critical new challenge, the Islamization of Europe. As nations across the continent face "negative population growth" for the first time in history, and the influx of immigrants of other faiths have flooded Europe, the position of Christianity is being supplanted as the primary faith of Europe. The very cradle of Evangelism which launched global evangelism is now in desperate need of a move of God.

| Statistical studies demonstrate that without a drastic demographic change 6 traditionally Christian European countries will be Muslim nations in the next 10 years. Harvard historian, Niall Ferguson warns that the rise of Islam, could transform the continent into “Eurabia." Europe has long been a swamp for vibrant faith compared with the rest of the world. In some nations church attendance has fallen to under 4%. It is easy to find evidence of the decay. |

AS the news is filled reports of violence, fear, fire bombs and Christians running for shelter in India, in the Uttar Pradesh Province, Dr Abraham Varghese and the team of Teen Challenge Lucknow continue to reach addicts. I have seen the abandoned and secularized churches, relics of past moves of God, many now transformed into little more the museums.
In London, in the church that was home to Outpouring in the Anglican Church I saw the vicar- I asked," How goes the more of God?
"It is over," he said, "but we press on."

From Slovenia ... we heard the testimony of a car, donated by Don Wilkerson to The Europe Teen Challenge Office almost forty years go. This was then donated by the ETC office to Slovenia. It is still serviceable. It is still on the road. The word of God declares that as Israel prepared to enter the promised land their shoes on their feet did not wear. out. The testimony of ETC is that neither do cars. Tom shared, God is reminding us, the old things do not wear out. Those are old things we need never lose. . . Prayer, servant hood, a heart for the lost, and the power of God. These will hold us in good stead until Jesus returns.

1) Please pray for Cathy --Her Surgery May 29 went well. She the 3 inch Cyst on her left ovary had grown to over 5 1/2 inches in 2 weeks. . Following her hysteroscopy, cystectomy and DNC we are believing for normal biopsies on the fibroids and the cyst.
2) PLEASE PRAY FOR LUCKNOW TEEN CHALLENGE for safety and God's presence for this graduation 10 May.
--a. scholarships for 3 TC graduates going on to Bible College. ( approximately $500.00 per year)
--b. to buy 2 more buffalos -one costs $620
--c. MULTI-PURPOSE BUILDING is under construction -needs $41, 000
to finish it
3) Pray for the ministry in MAURITIUS- in May as we host the crusade and street rallies in the six major drug areas and a climaxing in the nation's capitol. (see detail above). MAURITIUS is a fertile field and I believe God is going to shake that island by HIS power and from there I see the wave rolling like a tsunami of love and grace to Seychelles and then Reunion Island. --a. Strategic venues have been identified and applications have been submitted to relevant authorities.

Let's pray that we receive timely written approval for the venue.
--b. The - objective of the Rock the Block is to reach out to drug addicts in their own community.
------Pray that many addicts will attend these gatherings and there's a great move of God. They will meet and experience the love of Jesus Christ ,lives will be transformed and we will live in stronger communities.
--c. Pray for the volunteer, as they intercede, distribute flyers, place posters, post of banners, personal invitations, musicians, singers, counselors and many others.
--d. Pray that a large number of people will rise up and volunteer in the different fields.
--e. We further pray that christians do not focus on supporting only their denomination, but see the Kingdom perspective as christians from various local churches across the island join in and support this initiative.
--f. The cost of organizing such event amounts to Rs275,000 and therefore we will require donors and sponsors. A well organized donors program is being put in place to raise sufficient funds. This is a bold step of faith for Teen Challenge Mauritius. Please pray that hearts of people will be touched and they will contribute generously towards this event.
4) Pray for workers for the Harvest ...Teen Challenge Centers in 86 countries need staff and we currently have invitations to start Teen Challenge in 43 nations. They are crying out for help. They need the power of God to meet a pressing social need... but we know it has a SPIRITUAL ROOT.
We offer SPIRITUAL RESOURCES to meet the need.
