| MIDDLE EAST MIRACLES |
Thank you for your prayers. We are in quarantine. We have returned home safely from the Middle East, managing to travel through almost every COVID hot spot. From Egypt where over 1,200 gathered for the worldwide Teen Challenge prayer meeting, flying through Italy and ministering in Lebanon, Armenia and the Syrian Refugee camps of the Bekaa’ Valley. God got me out of Jordan, landing 30 minutes before the border closed. We rejoice in God’s promise, protection and we are so thankful for your prayers. |

| Békaa Valley Refugee Camps |
We visited Zahlé, the 3rd largest city in Lebanon. There, in the Békaa Valley, 1.5 million Syrian refugees are battling loss, poverty and now
the COVID-19 Coronavirus. |

Amidst overcrowding, and aimless days, these camps are a breeding ground for drug abuse. Disease, poverty and addiction have created a ripe environment for hopelessness. |

Zahlé is a "mile high" city for more than geographical elevation. Békaa Valley, a
75 mile stretch of land spanning nearly the length of Lebanon,
is a vast lawless area notorious for chaos, kidnapping, and violent drug wars. |

| Lebanon is one of the top 5 cannabis producers worldwide. Marijuana and hashish grow wild along the roadways and are used by terrorists as a cash crop. The deeper you travel into the Békaa Valley, the more lawless it can be. Kidnapping has been common. Security forces have clashed with drug lords. It is known for large scale cannabis cultivation. Please watch this 60 second video. It has some stunning statistics and a great challenge to pray for the refugees and people like Kareem and his team who minister there. They minister tirelessly in the camps. They are true heroes. |

The promise of hope and God's love offers warmth that blankets and fuel cannot provide. CLICK HERE for a PHOTO ALBUM of the faces of children we have seen in the camps. They touched us so deeply, surrounded by despair and hopelessness. Please pray for these silent victims. One little girl looked up with tears and said, "Please pray, don't forget us." This was such an amazing mission. I cannot wait to tell you more about the miraculous miracles taking place in the new Lebanon TC Men's Center, even in the face of a a collapsing economy, followed by the onslaught of COVID 19 Coronavirus.
Space fails us here. After some brief mention below, our next E-ntercession will tell so much more about Armenia and the amazing work of Gagik and Lusine and the amazing team in Armenia as well as the strategic advancements in Jordon. |

HOPE DOES NOT DISAPPOINT
I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.  John 16:33 |

Right now one thing is in short supply -- peace.
In Habakkuk, calamity was falling on the house of Israel. He cries out "How long will I call for help and you will not hear ... Why ? Why? (Hab 1:1-6)
He was like us. He wanted to understand, but Jesus makes it clear in John 16 that our peace is not in "knowing," but in HIM.
God answers, "Observe! Be astonished! Wonder! Behold I am doing something in your days— You would not believe if I told you. Habakkuk 1:5
God basically says,- If I told you, you still wouldn't get it! My brain tells me that If i just understand what is happening, then I’ll have peace. Peace doesn’t come from understanding everything that is happening. Real peace comes when you surrender your right to "know" at an intellectual level and the demand that God explain himself. He is sovereign and real peace is based on trust. God is doing more than you can see and God knows more than He is
telling you.
The "convenient" gospel has falsely promised a peace based on comfort and predictability. God is a God of surprises and He commands us to endure. He promised that in the world we would have tribulation.

The strength of our faith is not in the size of it or the feeling of it, but in the proof of it. The proving ground of faith is tribulation. Faith can't grow when you know what is going on.
The greater the challenge you face, the more uniquely you are positioned for a miracle. I will let the Apostle Paul say it for us . . .
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God. Not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. Romans 5:1-5
Where is your peace? My confidence in not the President or Congress or the economy. I am not looking to Washington for provision, I have lifted up my eyes to heaven. My Hope is in the King, so I will not be disappointed.
My fear is not of Coronavirus, my concern is that, in my search to know "why," I might miss God's purpose for me. I am not asking God,"Why the Coronavirus?" My heart cries out, "God, how can I serve your purpose in this hour?"

1) Novel Coronavirus
Please pray for those at risk, infected and affected by the novel Coronavirus. (COVID-19), Infecting 196 nations, with over 559,000 infections, over 25,335 deaths globally -- 86,000 in the USA with 1,300 deaths. ONLY 5 COUNTRIES worldwide have more confirmed cases than New Yrok City. Please pray for an end to foolish politcal agendas and for national, political and spiritual leaders as they strategize emergency measures, travel restrictions, and quarantines to stem the spread of the virus.
World Health Organization Novel Coronavirus DASHBOARD
Please pray for our friends, partners and sacrificial ministry assets, who are sharing the Word throughout this pandemic. Pray for supernatural power, protection, and miracles to follow wherever they go. Please also pray for God’s wisdom for the scientists who are working to develop a cure and vaccine.
Please pray for healing for our heroes of the faith, the director of AG World Missions, Greg Mundis and world missionary from Northeast Asia, Ron Maddux, and their wives who are all battling the Coronavirus as well as five other AG missionaries.
2) TEEN CHALLENGE
Please pray for Teen Challenge here in the US and internationally. The financial pressures and collapse of some of the nations have had a significant impact. Even here in the United States, on a conference call today, we heard some centers saying they will have to consolidate and close centers to survive. Pray for God’s supernatural provision, vision, and strategies to not only sustain, but to overcome.
3) Ministry in Lebanon, Jordan & Armenia
We were blessed to see the new TC center in Lebanon and excited to work with Garo as we met with new leaders and did awareness meetings in Jordan.
We had such a wonderful time traveling to Yerevan, Armenia to minister with Gagik & Lusine Mkrtchyan, directors of TC Armenia. We visited their centers, ministered at church and a companion program at Word of Life. Pray as they continue with the VISION. We are excited to share detailed updates in our next E-ntercession.
4) In obedience to God’s Word . . .
“First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

5) JUST PRAY NO April 18-19.
The weekend of April 18-19, 2020 has been designated as the 30th Annual “Just Pray NO!” to drugs Worldwide Weekend of Prayer and Fasting for the addicted and their families.
Since April 7th, 1991, “Just Pray NO!” has united Christians around the world in intercessory prayer on behalf of those bound by alcoholism, drug addiction and other life controlling compulsions Join us in prayer.
6) VISION & WISDOM
Please pray for wisdom for our travel schedule through 2020. Thanking God that He will lead, guide and order our steps to the places He wants us to be.
Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we can ask or think according to the power that works within us, to him be the glory in the church and in Jesus Christ to all generations forever and ever. AMEN

It was wonderful to be with Garo Margossian for one of our more challenging mission trips. We dodged canceled airline flights, quarantine, government shut downs, closing borders and COVID-19 Coronavirus. We rejoiced as God moved powerfully everywhere we traveled, showed Himself mighty and met us at every point of need.
