FOCUS

1) STOP AND THANK GOD for the true Blessings that He has given and pray for vision, to live this new Year with a Holy Urgency in 2017.

Thank God for sending His Son. For the peace in the midst of the storms, for family, life and HOPE. Things we take for granted here in the US, like clean water, light and electricity, they are only a distant dream for many in Africa and around the world.

2) HOUSTON TEXAS -- The World Mission Summit 4

Pray for THE WORLD MISSION SUMMIT with over 6,000 Chi Alpha students from secular college campuses across the nation registered. We will join an amazing team from Global Teen Challenge and AGWM International Ministry from Jan 2 to 8 to share mission opportunities. God used Chi Alpha to rescue me on a secular campus in 1971- He touched Cathy and I deeply at Lock Haven and we pray we can share the mission vision.

3) ALEPPO, Syria - Aleppo has fallen

Please pray for the people of Aleppo. . .After an extended siege and a month of intense fighting, Bashar al-Assad’s forces seized control of the eastern half of the city. A withdrawal agreement allowed thousands of rebels and civilians to evacuate.

— but not before Assad’s forces massacred and tortured an unknown number of people. Assad's victory is a humanitarian disaster and a devastating blow to the embattled anti-government rebels — and something that was in the works for over a year.

Syrian Christians are pleading for the church worldwide to join them in praying that:

a. violence will cease and peace will be restored, in Aleppo and throughout Syria.
b. those who are bereaved will know the comfort of Jesus, and those wounded and traumatized will know his healing and presence.
c. the needs of the millions of Syrians who have been displaced, either internally or abroad, will be adequately met.

4) PRAY FOR MISSIONARIES FAR FROM HOME

The Christmas season is often bittersweet for missionaries serving in difficult regions far from home and family and friends. Pray for their encouragement as they share the true hope of the gospel and the real meaning of Jesus’ birth.

5) PRAY FOR TEEN CHALLENGE STUDENTS

Please pray for Teen Challenge students in programs around the world as they are finding freedom and new life. It is both a dangerous and strategic time for them --- they want to be home but it is a circumstance fraught with danger. The investment to build a drug free foundation in the presence of Jesus will pay dividends of the rest of their lives!

6) Pray with us for the global advance of the gospel.

Pray for workers for the Harvest ...Teen Challenge Centers in 115 countries need staff and we currently have invitations to start Teen Challenge in over 32 nations. They are crying out for help. They need the power of God to meet a pressing social need... but we know it has a SPIRITUAL ROOT.

We offer SPIRITUAL RESOURCES to meet PRACTICAL needs.
MATTHEW 9: 37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. 38 Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”
